Hitch a ride with Bob, you're just a few minutes south of him.

Bump for Brit, who cant read English too well........

Do a Google map search for " Linnie, California" The Nine Mile Canyon turnoff from the 395 Northbound is located right there.

Simple enough?

Brits knees are knockin' about comming down the hill from K/M.

I want those who have driven it to chime in.

I think its not that bad, if you keep your speed in check... starting from the top.

Brits afraid his brakes will fade, resulting in a big, firey crash at the bottom.

I told him its long, steep, and straight. Thats what gets most people in trouble.

If you keep it at 15 to 20 mph all the way, basically engine brake in 2nd....your golden.

If you get it up to 40+ on the steepest parts, your insurance better be current.

Use your head Brit, you'll be fine.

Thats another thing Ive been thinking about, it boosts about 13psi in the summer heat at WOT, so figure im gonna be pulling 10-12 psi all the way up the hill at 20mph... The downstream temps are gonna be 250+, my intercooler is going to be boiling over by the top

Then Ive gotta deal with breaks that fade in one unloaded decent stop.....

I went up and down that hill one time many years back and also worried about my brakes. I went down in 2nd and barely touched the brakes the whole way down.

You will be fine...
