yeah, I think it is on the high end of e2, close to d2 because I've walked to that #9 crapper and it was closer than the #12

Maybe, I will tell you this much though, I walk out the camp about 100ft. and let the dogs run down into the canyon/trails area to chase rocks and poop. So no matter how far down it is, just keep in mind its right on top of the ridge...

Head north on the 15, get off at baker, turn left at the mad greek cafe, drive 30-40 mins and then turn right into dumont dunes

its 100 miles from vegas and 30 from baker. just follow brits directions.

The signposting sux and the only sign for dumont you will see its 3 miles from comp hill
Just head towards death valley and you'll be cool

One you see the "little dunes" on the right (its the first dumont dunes sign) carry on for a mile or so and you'll see the main entrance (at the base of the steep grade) on the right

ill see what happens. ill be heading through vegas and MIGHT be able to make a detour to dumont, MAYBE. if i did make it, theres high probability i would only be able to ride on friday, or possibly only 1-2 hours early saturday morning. what is the weather supposed to be like friday and saturday in dumont?

Plans are changing daily and its looking like i might be able to make this!!

im going to see if a ultra heavy duty front tube will keep the tire inflated and just ride the fugged up rim the way it is... FUGG IT!!

We will be there mid day Friday, my parents are going to be there Starting Thursday afternoon. We were going to join them Thursday but something came up for Friday morning, so we will be heading out after that is over (before lunch)...

This is great, I posted up this ride expecting a few buddies to show and now we got a nice size crew and I didnt have to do any work once Britt and Danny took over the thread!! HAHAHA

ill try and make it if i can. its real ifffy right now. if i can manage a detour i wont be able to stay long...just long enough to see how my stock bike compares to your "built" machines

Both Weather.com , and Accu-Weather are predicting 60+% chance of rain Thursday - Sunday... with temps in the mid/low 50's during the day, low 30's at night...
This trip still happening?
I'm leaning towards passing.
