I rode Jay's bike for for a few hours yesterday.... My comments:
1. Vibration, not an issue. The frame was modified correctly ( Not drawn together) and I can honestly say the vibes were very similar to a steelie, maybe less with the Flexx Bars Jay runs.
2. Cooling. It was a cool day, but there was a deep, soft , sand wash that had Jay's son Troy's bike steaming a little. Jays's A/F.. nothing. I do beleive Jay runs Evans though.
3. Handling... VERY nice. Forks seem a little stiff, but its like a Mac computer.. " Point and Click"..... your there.
For anyone considering doing an A/F... dont discount the Gen 1's, simply due to their age. They are very nice machines, and the ease in which they can be converted makes them even more attractive!

I'm a rider, not a mechanic.
I must be too picky. All the used bikes I've seen have been trashed where it counts.

Often times my riding style mandates me be a mechanic on the trail side or walk back to the truck...
