This site cracks me up.
You guys have great sense of humour....LOL Dry rooted....

good to see your doin it right, and if end up with a 450, I will buy your kit.
Its worth the time saved, headaches piecing out work, and frustration dealing with stupidity.

hey shaggy can you give me an idea of what prices you charge , as my buddy really wants a 500AF, money that stays in Oz is better than money going overseas, cheers

Not out of my comfort zone, just a big jump from Shans kit. I honestly spent less then $300 for the conversion part of my build and $200 was for the welding.

My point for the "high" comment was... Am I paying for just cost of the parts or the work that went into developing and producing the parts. Some R & D needs to be ate up by the one producing the parts hoping for a long term sale of said product! If it cost you that to make; so be it, but if one is hoping for a 200 or 300% mark up... Good luck in moving the said product. But I guess that is just the capitalist/spoiled american in me

Either way, very nice stuff and very tuff builds shaggy; some of the best I have seen..... But for $700 bucks for just the mounting hard wear seems a little excessive, when I could buy a running 500 for that here in the good ole USA!

if you look at shanmans kit dont get two sided head stay or airbox adaptor with hex screws or swing arm collar or bolts or a full rail replacement.
we did these kits as a non profit thing as everyone wanted a kit for the 450s
if you think the price is high think about what it cost us to develop it for such a small batch run.

He's right guys...you are comparing an apple and an orange here regarding their kits and mine. I feel for anybody that tries to advance the AF community by properly engineering and manufacturing parts for sale. Everybody likes the end products...parts that are equal to or aften times better than OEM. But they either don't understand or are too cheap to accept the concept that doing that work isn't cheap. I sold all my stuff at COST, and I did not build in ANY of my labor. My time was donated to fellow hoons so everybody could benefit from my work and ride their dream bike for less than what it would cost to buy a SH rig. I actually lost money for having to do the shipping and handling myself.

Even offering the stuff at cost I couldn't sell it all quickly enough. Oddly enough, even though I had inventory to sell still, my stuff got copied by guys who "knew guys". Funny thing is, I guarantee you that if they tracked the total cost to make parts (material, machine time, finishing, etc.) they probably spent more to make their parts than they would have had they bought my stuff. CRAZY.

BY the way...guys, your stuff is uber-nice...great work!

Just my 2 cents-

What is your time worth to source the materials and farm out labor/DIY AND to get the quality of this kit?
I think it is an excellent deal. Sure I have made all my own stuff but it doesn't look nearly as good which will reflect in the price I get if I ever decide to sell my bike.

I cant find anyone here that can bend the tube like shaggy does
By the time a guy start measuring and screwing arround its impossible to do it for less $ than buying this outright, AND when you use these parts the guys have already done the work of figuring out the angle for the engine and everything, bolt the head stay on, the mounts tothe engine, stuff the tube in there and zap it together

first of all i'd like to say under 800 bucks in parts , to turn a runny nosed shit dribbling 450 into a fire breathing two stroke 500 , is a small price to pay. well done shaggy , thats a bargain mate . secondly , how much of this kit will fit an 05 crf250r , and how much for it?

Hey everyone, Bean and Stoffers are combining efforts to get these kits out there and available, either for purchase or installed.
Paulie will have some kits stateside, for immediate shipment.

Thanks Bean, for taking this on!!!
