i checked a newer head once and it seems like 15mm. i thought it might have been 18mm but that didnt sound right, unfortunatly i dont have a loose head to re-check.

you have the dimensions ?

ml3r f-3 has about .700 sqiush compared to the .613 '86
and the pocket is 1.090 deep instead of .988
the step of this head is .080, the '86 is .040, BUT the head gasket compensates. Eitherway the factory depth of the head has no effective squish and they should be cut shallower

honda changed the heads for 2 or 3 years ? the heads you posted look nothing like a coolhead.

its all cool bro. i had pete make a head for me so im not too concerned with stock dimensions, i was just commenting that the numbers you posted arent even close to coolhead specs, 63cc might be the same between all of them but thats where the similarities end. the close ratio head your talking about might be closer to coolhead specs, but i havent seen that head so im not sure. dont get me wrong i think its bitchin you post info for the hoons to see

i take it the 91+ is on the left?
what are the character differences when using these heads?
is the pre 91 for leaded petrol, a higher octane?
