Stupid question and off topic, but how the hell do you guys get that polished sheen on the cylinders like that? I have tried to polish them in the past, but I can't get around the casting bumps and into the crevaces. I'm not into bling, but it is frozen here now and won't thaw until April, so it's either mess with the bike and get ready for next year, or move to California, and if I could I would! :)

looks like it really gets into the transfer area of the case. do you weld that back up or have to modify the sleeve some how ? certainly you dont leave it like that ?
