Yota am sure you don’t want to hear this but I think it should be said.
If I was one of the guys waiting months or even a year longer and still don’t have a delivery date, I would be pig sick to see you dancing round your frame singing I’m all right jack and fuck all the rest of you.
I know it’s not your fault but fuck me talk about the squeaky wheel.

thats a good point and I won't say it hasn't crossed my mind but I don't know what the priority of placed orders is as its not as simple as what frame number you have. Also I have a PM from one guy and a phone conv with another both with prior orders who told me they cannot pay their balance yet and they don't expect their bikes until they come up with the money, One of them is a good friend of Mike's.
Also for instance Bob told me that Cepek ordered a 2nd frame and then canceled at a later date so that frame (#5 I think he said) was apparently reassigned to someone else. Its pretty confusing but I hear you.

97AF 's frame was at the heat treaters for over a month to bring the total to 10, and it supposedly has been at Mikes for over a week getting the radiator mounting tabs relocated.
Yet Yota's is on some sort "fast track" build schedule and will go from first cut to shipped in a week?
Something smells....

Bob, hope you're not implying something smells on my end. All I've done from my end is pay in full on my order date, keep up a very active flow of communication with Mike and keep a positive attitude. I haven't done anything or ever said anything to Mike that would move my frame ahead of anyone else's and I'm perfectly happy to wait my turn as long as apples are apples. Also all he is doing for me is the frame, nothing else so there may be a lot less to be done or sent out to be done, don't know.
as to your statement that mine would go from cut to ship in a week, that is unlikely isn't it.

Bob, I think all in all you have been trying to help in this matter but the more I think about it this was a bullshit statement to make.AlisoBob wrote:97AF 's frame was at the heat treaters for over a month to bring the total to 10, and it supposedly has been at Mikes for over a week getting the radiator mounting tabs relocated.

IMO, that's all he ever should have done - frames.yota wrote:Also all he is doing for me is the frame, nothing else
Why not just take clients frames, rad(s), coil and CDI, convert that and return it to the client with a new pipe, silencer and headstay? That's exactly what AJ at Service Honda did for me (except for the coil/CDI which he gave me like-new ones since I didn't have them) and I had it back in 3 weeks.
I don't know, it seems like a no-brainer to me, you take on too much shit and wear too many hats and it's going to bite you in the ass eventually. Throw in problems at home and you're doing some really stupid shit and ruining all the reputation that you worked so hard to build.
We were initially blown away by Mike's first conversion, his fabricating/welding skills, not his ability to get us Honda parts, engines, cylinder work, etc. Fuck, there's plenty of places for that shit.
Do frames and sell Pro-Circuit pipes and silencers. Keep it simple with acceptable turnaround times.
Just my

All I'm saying is Mike has had a members frame for 9+ months and is unable to finish it for whatever reason.
He told me finally got it back from heat treat ( after 1.5 months) and he spent 3 days ( 5-12, 13, and 14) on cutting off the radiator mounting tabs to relocate them and reweld them back on.
This task remains uncompleted to my knowlage, and the frame still has not shipped.
I sat across from Mike at his dining room table in mid March, and he said this frame will ship no later than 4-15-09.....He still has it .
How he can suposedly knock Yota's frame out in a week, given the episode described above?
Its all very confusing to me.

i'm still blown away at Mike's machining..... take a close look at the CRF 450 headstay he made for Kolars "Satin" bike. Stunning work.
Robert, Once Mike gets all this straightened out, thats exactly what he should do.

The only way to help the members is to help Mike....yota wrote:Bob, I took your comment wrong, sorry. I know you are only trying to help everyone, including Mike I think.
I've offered Mike my help to go pick stuff up at Heat Treat, I've offered to crate stuff up. I defered any payments Mike owed me to help get stuff out ....I've offered to help Mike any way I can...... He's refused it all.
What do they call it??? Tough Love?
