Will the stock 125 y peice for the collant line flow enough to keep the 500 cool,I got the 2 hoses to slide on the spigots just wondering if it will resrict flow

I got a 2 5/8 to 1 3/4 Y from an 80's YZ 250 to do my coolant piping. I used this just outside the frame on the left side and then used two brass 90 degree 5/8 elbows outside the frame and then two on the head. It makes for a lot of pipe clamps but it is simple and keeps the engine cool. Of course here in Canada we do not have the same cooling needs as in the south.

there is a plastic Y that works well that was stock on a '02-'04 crf450. when I did the gen-4s thats what I used, local honda dealer had it in stock.

I found a good Y at the housing shop here,My bike has been ready to ride for a couple weeks now but I'm still waiting on a front sprocket,Hopefully tomorrow,I'm itchin to ride,Tired of the sled and quad
