my bike was previously owned by a tard. it had rusted swingarm bearings among other things, luckily the motor was still ok because he probly too stupid to know how to pop it open. other than leaving the oil fill cap off when its raining outside, how the fuk do you get the tranny full of water ? :?:

I would guess through the waterpump... if both seals are blown, I imagine quite a bid could get in the motor... the weephole is pretty small.

i didnt think about both seals going bad. i read back previos posts and it seems like that motor you bought sat in a garage for a long time and probly why the rust started. nobody ever changed the oil in that bike or they would of noticed the water, then again they might of been to stupid to realize it was water. sucks to here your bad luck dude

The cool thing is UPS is sending me a check for the shipping damage, so I'm gonna come out at a minimal loss. But his bad Karma is gonna last quite some time!

Just thought you guys would like to know, I just got $$$ from UPS $329, since I paid bigjay $350 for the motor and $30 for shipping, I'm only out like $50 for the engine core. I went through everything and ordered everything I need to make it nice including all bearing and seals, etc. for $220, so I guess for $300 and a lot of work I will have a nice rebuilt motor... So I'm stoked it all seems to have worked out. I still need a couple parts, but some fellow hoons have really hooked me up with the little stuff, al0ha sent me the water elbow and Mike sent me some waterpump parts and a cdi ( I owe Mike if I don't make Pismo :D )! we've got some killer hoons here that really make up for the 1 shitty one...
