I thought I had both bought off Ebay and ended missing them when the auction ended early.

Can ship both covers tomorrow - need address.

PM Shanman, I have some complete gen-1 kits, but I'm almost out... Shanman can sell you just the front mounts.

Thanks...my BIL built this beast but its a little on the jerry rigged side and vibrates bad. I'd like to get at least the front mounts, they look real nice, and maybe the headstay though I'd probably prefer a double.

I'm still interested, what options are you going to offer? ie colours & finish. I'd take a pair in black without any logo to suit a 99 motor.

Sorry for the hold up boys, but my machinst lost a motherboard on his computer and was down a few days. We are doing a run of gen. one hardware now, and I am doing a beta set of engine covers and a beta version of the two piece steel head stay for both gen. one and gen. three. As soon as the standard hardware is complete, i will fire off a price list.

Thanks.

hey shanman, have you thought about a... gen 4 kit??? :D
I'm gonna be starting a gen-4 tonight. I was thinking about measuring everything I do and drawing it all up. even if the kit only included front and lower mounts and the headstay, that would help a lot of guys out!

I'll take a set of 4th gen front mounts and a pair of head stay plates when you work out all the angles.

Hey Shanman - are the head stays for the Gen1 and 2 similar?

actually, I have no idea because I haven't been a part of a gen two conversion. I had a 2001, but I rode it as a 250. Hopefully somebody else can chime in, but I think the plates are flat and do not require the Z bend as the others do...kind of like a gen. four. Should be very simple to make!

The Gen 4 are "Z" style.

I have a quick request:

Can somebody please tell me the outlet nipple size for the cooling lugs coming out of the CR500 head? Also looking for the same info for the larger single gen. one radiator. I had this info in my billet splitter, but my computer crashed yesterday and I lost some of my files...that one being one of them.

Thanks in advance!
