Well, I made it back from vacation, I ate lots of salads and drank too much. Result is one pound lighter. I didn't gain so I've got that going for me.

Last time I had good results with just this....

1. Portion Control

2. NO EATING IN THE CAR!

3. No eating past 8pm

4. Switched from whole milk to soy milk.

With my torn off achillies, exercising will be hard. We'll see how my 4 point plan goes this time around....
Monday is the OFFICIAL WEEK ONE WEIGH IN

Go easy on dinner tonight!!!

266lbs here, not totally disappointed but not stoked.

A week in Disneyland and San Diego, I worked out twice at hotel work out rooms, I surfed 3 times and realized how out of shape I am for paddleing. I didn't eat great but I didn't eat super bad either. I am home now and ready to get back on track and in shape for summer.

Damn, 262.
All that working last week and a few days with nothing to do caught up with me.
Well, tomorrow starts a "work" workout that will last a couple of weeks.
Normally I hire a guy to do the mulch at my accounts.
Not this time!

I'm stuck at 269,and I even made it through easter dinner without blowing my diet.Oh and let me tell you it was brutal,my wife makes up an easter basket for all of us and there was three big ass boxes of Peeps in there sticking out of the basket tempting me like a pit bull chained up one foot away from a t-bone steak.I know damn well she bought them on purpose because I'm the only one here that likes them.
Anyway's,I'm on what they call a plateau so I have tried to change up the diet a little.
Hang in there everybody on a diet,it sucks but will be worth it in the long run.

Man what I was doing was a very loose interpretation of surfing. I Suck at it now, I am everything I kind of laughed at as a kid. My wave selection sucks, my paddling sucks, I have zero pop in my get up, I was dragging a knee bad. I had fun and once up rode O.K. I just can't get into waves as well as I once could. I used to be able to paddle into a ripple in the sea...now I'm panting and just don't have the timing down.

Worked out after work 3 days this week. Now spending the weekend healing.

My diet has sucked the last 5 years, and now I'm paying the price. The wife has me on a plan, and I'm sticking to it for the most part.

It's all good. A few months of this and I'll be fit again.

I'm surprised to see I've only dropped 2 pounds. However I know it will start to drop more so with the combination of a good diet and exercise.

I'm down about 8 lbs so far. The Concept2 rower and X-bike are kicking my ass. Gonna throw in some Power 90 and cross train work outs next.

Business and personal travel crapped all over the CrossFit schedule last week. But I did buy a pair of jeans with a 33" waist which is definitely heading in the right direction. Swimming tomorrow for first time in many years...

The "exercise / eat healthy, not diet" control group hit the pool yesterday for the first time in many many years. Double CrossFit today.
