I was going to just silver solder some copper together before I saw that setup . It is still going to be awhile before I start my af . So I'll wait and see what you come up with .

Cooling hoses

I bet that would do wonders for clearance between the hoses and the fuel tank on AF conversions. Has anybody tried to get some 90ยบ fittings to route the coolant hoses out instead of up ?

They need attention too! I just finished the new one last night I soaked the head in the oven at 500 deg for an hour and a half and froze the manifold it made it possible to get a .005-.006 interfearance fit should work bitchen. Oh and there was plenty of empty space in the freezer but now that I mentioned that my 11 year old did say "Hey Dad what's this?"

Mikes real high tech.... I got a bit of Hillbilly in me.

This is Mikes approach, done West Virginia style...

A little Muggy rod, and i'm hitting the dunes!!!

2 x 1/2" in to 1 x 3/4". ( The stock CRF flow path carries all the coolant to the left rad, where it splits over to the right. The flow from the rad to the water pump, and from the pump to the jug is all 3/4" too on a CR500 engine.)
What do you think?

So did you come up with a price for the manifold ? I can weld it in myself no big deal . I was thinking of milling the top of the head down some too. it may make it easier to weld.

How's $35.00 that includes shipping in the lower 48. I wouldn't machine the bosses lower I just finished my fourth one and if you machine the bosses down it actually makes it harder to weld take my word on that one and what I did was machined the spouts off and made the bores .730 +.005 and 1.180 between centers and changed the angle about three degrees away from the plug making it easier to weld from that side because that's the problem side also when your welding it use 25% Helium and 75% Argon it burns much hotter and I don't preheat anything except cast iron that's something a weld shop will tell you to charge you more money
