Again, you vaginas really missed out! Some awesome riding. I'm still hurting and I didn't eat it once...thats how you know it was some good riding.
It was super crowded so we stuck to the less popular areas (which are usually the steepest because qwad-tards are pussies). My bike held up like a champ, but I need to get it better dialed in, it was way faster last time out.
Justin and I got into a little wrestling match...it was freaken hillarious, he came out bleeding and I looked like a coal miner!! It was especially funny when he was shoveling dirt in my shirt and pants, so I tried to throw some dirt in his face, but he ducked and it landed in my own face!!! it was some funny shit and no hoons were there to take any pics
It was too bad, Justin missed out on a good ride at the end of saturday because he was playing qwad mechanic!

He even missed his buddy eating it on his 500!! it was hillarious!
Now I have to work on getting my 41mm carb on and bar mounts to help with the vibes by the next ride.

Im gonna start calling you tinker boy, since you spend more time playing with your bike then you do riding it!! LOL BTW No more 5th gear in the hundy. It just neutrals and makes a grinding noise...

I had occasional problems before when speed shifting, but it wont go into 5th gear at all. He had to have noticed and just didnt say anything, thats what pisses me off...

Was nice to see a ton of 500's in dumont... ever since i got mine i keep seeing more and more of em.. What a sight i tell ya. Im sure i saw a few of you guys... but dont know whos bike looks like what... anyhow.. i was the fat guy running around on a steel framed 97 with a knobbie all weekend. Next trip i will have the paddle on.. especially after i change up the gearing... 15/45 on a knobbie is faaaast as hell in the flats but wont pull the hill fer chit.. going to try out 15/49 with a 10 cup before i drop the front to a 14.. i want to retain some desert speed but also help out in the sand.. we shall see...
Hope to see some of ya on the next weekend out..

You should have let us know you were gonna be there, we could have met up. A 15 front is gonna cause you to run too hot if you ask me. And theres simply no need for it!! Theres no hill out there tall enough for 5 gear pinned on a 15 CS.
Do a 10 puck MINIMUM!! I say 12 or higher if you got the $$$. And try to get a ribbed paddle, they make a huge difference. Even if you have to stay at 10 pucks to get it, DO IT!!
If you saw a guy on a black and red Fo Fitty doing wheelies from bottom to top of any hills especially Comp or Banshee Hill then you saw me. And if there was a 5 hundy trying to keep up, you saw Danny...

Those would be the predominant 2 bikes i saw all day.. you guys cruised past our camp a few times as well...
I have the 14/49 sprockets on the shelf at home.. i wanna try 15/49 so i dont have to change the damn countershaft sprocket everytime i throw the desert tire on... if its horrid it doesnt take long to swap that sprocket..
I tried signing on before i left to try and hook up for a ride or something but the damn thing wouldnt let me... ohh well..

Rode a quad cuz you were tired?? WIERD!! Quads wear me the EF out!! I rode my girls Banshee for a "guys night ride" for about an hour and I was WAISTED!! Quads just beat the shit out of my ass and lower back. Plus it was so busy out there and chopped up the thing shook so bad I couldnt see where I was going so I just followed the blurry tail light in front of me!! HAHA

i usually grab the quad when i dont feel like man handleing the bike around... plus my arms were pretty numb from the bike lol... not excessive vibration but the trying to hold on with the rough sand and muscle it around i was just plain wore out and wanted a couch to cruise on.. till i rested a bit..

It was pretty ruff!! I like going in the middle of the week after a wind or rain storm, if you ever do, you will not want to waste your time on the big weekends!!

I can't remember where southern highlands is, but I live at silverado ranch by the south point. if you ever want to have a beer, let me know, maybe we could actually make Justin leave his neighborhood.
