i cant compare it to my first cr500 cause it was completely done up right and had a ton of aftermarket parts on it....

how hard does that motor spin ? im guessing its a torque monster like a diesal... kinda crazy to weld rods but whatever works...
i guess its not really that crazy since theyve started welding v8 together now to make a v16...

Exactly, or even snap off complety.
I dont have the tooling to cut it out. A sharp carbide burr on a long extension is all you need.
Here's another option that worked great for me. I used a Sawzall to cut it out, then a carbide burr to shape the roof and floor.

stock motor has a goveronor arround 1800 rpm max, this one turns 3500

I wish i could weld as well as I can cut shit up! haha.
sawzall, zip cut and plasma cutters are some of my favorite tools!
