Britiodic, brit-ee-ah-tic, rhymes and is synonymous with idiotic.

Proper use in a sentence: "You see how that guy rides? It's fricken' Britiodic!"

I ended up selling it on Thumpertalk and then found an '04 CR250R off of Craigslist and bought it today.

It was a 3 hour drive each way to get it, but I think it was worth it. :ride: :woot:

BTW, most of the stickers are gone already. Not my thang! :nono:

Well, basically it all evened out. I sadly accepted $2,600 for my 450 and paid the same for the 250 (he was asking $2,900).

Reckin' that's a good deal or not?

I just sold a '02 250 motor on Ebay for $650... so you have about $2k in the roller.

It looks pretty nice!

Yeah, it's a really low hour bike which is what I was looking for. It's still on the stock chain and sprockets.

The graphics gotta' go as do the backgrounds but I figure on replacing that stuff on a used bike anyway so it's no big deal.

Thanks Bob.

NICE

I have to admit if does make me sad when I see all these perfectly good 250s getting butchered up
I was a little sad for my 250 when I tore it apart... but the outcome was well worth it!

That's why I used a 450 for mine. I couldn't bring myself to hack up a perfectly good 2-stroke. Plus you get more money out of the 450 motor if it's running when you pull it out. :P

Yeah, it is a little sad but my 500 engine is getting tired of sitting on the workbench.

I had considered this myself and actually bought a frame to mock up but the airbox throat and tank issues scared me off. That and everyone was saying that the CR250 handled better.

It also looks like an easier conversion. We'll see.
