95 CR250 engine in gen 3 CR125 frame

Riding a 125 WOT everywhere is kind of fun.

took the bike basically apart today to check everything. found a few loose nuts and bolts but overall nice work. got out my caliper, carb is taper bored 38mm to 39.5mm bike runs very smoothly in garage and very quiet considering tiny silencer. got a better look at the engine cases when I took the shock and carb off, both case halves are marked with frame number.



someone put nice big screws in carb bowl, something I have been tempted to do in the past.


anyone know what this marks is? my 500 has the same 03 CR125 frame but does not have this mark or the holes in the bottom of the frame.




another reason I hate mikuni carbs.
