its the same here in vegas w/ the water restrictions. The place has expanded beyond its water and power supply. so our power rates just went up again, I'm watering group C which I think means I can water on mon, wed, fri. They have water patrols that will site you if your sprinklers are on at the wrong day or time. Nevada power struggles to keep up with the damand in summer, when there are 2 million people running their a/c. The real BS comes in when you hear the rate hike was for the residentials and the casinos get to cruise on by

na, its just overpopulating and overheating rapidly. but our pollies are doing an excellent job of receiving there incomes while blindly ignoring the plights and problems of the people. they only care about there terms in office and the kick backs after there term has expired. 50 years from now, generations are gonna marvel about how stupid our generation was for squandering the last of our great resources that could of been sustained for a great many generations to come. with no fossil fuels left,vastly overpopulated lands and a irreversibly toxic planet, they are gonna wonder why we did nothing to change the course.

WOW, if you think global warming is caused by Co2 or that there is a shortage of fossil fuels you truly are a retard. Once again, do some frekin research, and apply some science. The greenhouse effect is the theory behind global warming. Scientists have never been able to make it work, even in the most controled laboratory experiments. The Milankovitch Cycle is a more likely cause...these cycles have been directly correlated to the planets past heating and cooling cycles. By the way the cycle would indicate that we are just comming off a warming trend and moving into a cooling cycle. If you look at global temp trends they have been cooling the last several years. But you go ahead and allow yourself to be manipulated by the press and the pricks at the UN wtih their political agendas.

I very much agree with you about overpopulation, and Iapologize for misunderstanding. I once had a science professor who said that overpopulation will lead to death on a much larger scale than pollution ever could or will. I haven't spent much time studying this but I am inclined to believe it. One has to be very careful about addressing such an issue because under the guise of helping, liberties will be removed. I personally wouldn't support policies that remove personal freedoms of religion, or free choice...no matter what heartstrings they tug at.
