Are you saying you only have one locating dowel to mount the jug on the bottom end, when there should be two.
If so, I thought I had two when I pulled the jug.
Guess what, I can only find one. :lol:

Where the F@!# do i get a locating pin, no one has any and the people that do wont give them away, but lucky for me i can pick up shaggys swingarm tommorow, a least i can stick the motor in to see what im up against, i wonder if bearing shops sell dowels :?:

honda, the dealers usually stock those because there are only like 4 sizes of honda dowels, so they should have them in stock.

I aint got any dowels in my AF motor, might explain the shitty compression :lol:

:shock: dont take this the wrong way but the new one dont look much better than the old one, (hopefully shaggy didnt chrage you much :lol: ). apears it aint seen grease for several years, and the chain really chewed it up and broke the outer edge where the seal goes :o . dont get me wrong some of the aussies have top notch conversions but a few of you other guys have me wondering.

all 2stroke paid for was freight
it has been sitting in the workshop for a few years and it is an easy repair for someone who can tig weld

Its all good mate, my mate Trent is a legend on the TIG, new bearings and seals and we are rolling.. It will come up like new...What do you expect for freight only, its still saving me a shitload....We will make it work and it wont be bodgy

Full rebuild, suspention,bla bla....I take it that stator case is plastic, im really keen on billet, im also after a left hand crank cover for the CR250 motor, you got one of them???

4mm, 7mm, 17mm inside diameter and 25mm outside diameter

is it the same as gen1 :?:

I actually found that 4 and 6 work better. when I was making shanmans kit, I made the first set w/ 4 and 7 and it wsa too large. measured the 500 motor and 250 motor and found exactly a 10mm difference, so I had the rest of the kits made 4 and 6. :wink:

thanks, im trying to get some titanium ones made, im thinking alloy might not last,and steel will rust, any thoughts
