I got some welding done today so the frame is complete other than a tab for the pipe mount. This guy did much better work than the old dude that welded my gen 3 build. I really liked his Lincoln invertec 205 machine, gonna have to find me one those.

take a little off the y and off the down tube and you souldnt have any problems

This was for me. I had trouble with the Y fitment. Fits good now.

Maybe I missed it but I looked over Bob's build also. What are you using for inserts where the tubes splice together? Did you find a size to fit the id of the tubing or have to cut something?

3/4" square bar, trimmed down a little.

yup, I have a place here in ATL called metal supermarket and they sell all kinds of stuff in small quantity.
