ive heard a lot of stories from close friends of the family about the instability if it, so even though i imagine its loud as fuck, no thanks.

Oxy acet in a ziplock bag makes a HUGE boom, its frighting how big of a bang you can get from a sandwich bag

Nitrous backfires in a CR500 pipe are pretty spectacular too

My favorite homemade jobbie is a chlorine bomb, a little chlorine crushed with a splash of rubbing alcohol rips a 2l bottle to shreads and makes a nice blast hole

Yeah, dry ice and water in a 2l or 3l pop bottle is just as awesome. rips it to shreds.

Guy we camp with made a reusable "detonation" device. It's comprised of a beer keg with the top cut out of it, a hose fitting on the bottom and a spark plug with leads (200'). Hose connects to oxy-act tanks (200'). Newspaper goes over hole on keg. BBQ grill goes on top of paper. 5 gal bucket filled with approx 2gal of gasoline sits on top of grille. Mixture enters keg and fills. Current is run to spark plug lead and BOOM! Really loud effing boom followed by huge fireball in sky. Hollywood studio quality effect!
