Very Nice!

If the spline on the inside of the kicker gear is offset one spline the kicker won't touch the frame. It was some work but I was glad I did it.

That model bike is being recalled for a serious structual frame defect, Ill take it off your hands for $1200 if its in good condition.

You must be one proud owner! Great bike. Do you have the part numbers for you Scotts, under bar set up? I have the damper but want to do the under bar mount on my conversion.

Great job ! Very clean looking.

Just curious about how this decomp works.Might sound like a dumb question.....Do you use that to push through to TDC to then kick it,or do you pull it in as you kick it and let it out halfway through the kick ?

What was welded,your crank ends ?

No dumb questions..... Once you activate it (in this case by pulling the lever) it will stay activated until the motor starts. Forum member Roostius Maximus did the mod in the head for me.

I purchased mine used it Franks Old frame #006.

I Know I already got slack for it it has someone elses name on it but for $2000.00 for a roller Gen 4 X frame that Street legal that included shipping it was a great deal for me.

The main frame still black I don't know how it is goin to hold up in the drit I prefer the bare Alum frame look.

But after removing the powder coating off the swingarm if I did the rest of the bike it would need to be sanded and polised out the sand blasting they did before it was powder coated screwed the finsh up.

Honda02 is that the frame that was on E-bay, the one that looked like it had a crack in it. Someone said it was a dog hair, was that the case or was it cracked, never did hear what it was.

It was a Dog hair I had the frame NDI it good to go.

After i recived the frame I gave it the intensive look over it seems all good I asked Frank did he even rode this bike it still had all the paint still on the foot pegs he told me he only ran 4 or 5 tanks of gas though the bike when he had it let say 50 miles per tank 200 mile on it before he figured out It a dirt bike not a street bike.

I going to make the bike a street legal dual sport bike with knobbies 98% Drit, 2% Street just in case I have ride some pavment one day.

I going to buy the dual sport kit next year for it I allready have to much money in to this project already need to save some money my bike mad money is spent for the year.

The funny thing about this my last bike 2006 KTM560 the old ownner only rode that bike 10 hours when I got it from him.

Thanks for the link 4Z. You have given me new hope for my S/H ignition. I could not get it to start consistantly on my steelie and took it off. Maybe with the Decomp I will be able to use it on my conversion. Believe me kicking that bad boy without the Decomp just about had my neighbors calling 911. Only thing stopped them was they were confused. They did not know whether to call the cops for the cussing or an ambulance cause I just about passed out. HA.

I only changed the main jet, I think I stuffed a 150 in there as it had a 180....would have to check my notes. What I have always done is lower the main 1-2 sizes lower than your leanest, recorded installed main. that way It gives me complete control on main jetting regardless of where I ride. UT-WA.
