well, I actually like the idea of sponsors that instead of paying into an admins pocket, just give discounts and perks to site members. a real "for the people" type deal
heck, I think we should have all sorts of sponsors, like sudco, HPD, TTM (since he already hands out the deals ), GSS, maybe get some online shop too, just like a place to buy tires and chains and levers.
I'll talk to DeWayne and see if he would give site members a discounts if he had a little logo somewhere He does everything, but there is no one better for fixing a tacoed a pipe

ya, I know, but like a DID x-ring gold chain from them was like $120, where every other local place was $130, rocky mountain, it was $91 and I got it finally from an ebay store for $69+10 shipping

so, yeah, TT give a decent locals discount, but to save $40 on a chain, I'll wait a few days.

OK, Heres the deal... I spoke with Craig @ HPD

1. You have to be signed up with Honda Parts Direct, and have a vaild email account.

2. Everyone who wants the discount, send me a PM. Include with it this same name and email address that HPD has on file.

3. I will foreward to HPD those email addreses from site members. NOTE! Being a member means being active. Fuddy- Duddys do not qualify.

4. Your email address will alert them that a Banned member is ordering, and your discounted prices will automatically pop up. No action is needed!

5. The discount will be between 4% - 6% depending on the part, how popular it is , and so forth. Figure on it averaging 5%.

So I just ordered from them $114 and no discount. I was logged in when I made the order (I double checked) and it made no difference. Total of parts and shipping was the same either way, I just added it all up after logging out.
I made the order anyways, but I was curious what happened. Can you shed any light on this Bob or do I need to contact them?

If I were you I would call them first.
