before, GM refused to do anything like this for the government, because they had a contract with the car owner, not the government......well, now with the bailouts, the government has their fingers in the company....

I've been car shopping lately and the dealerships keep forcing that On-Star bullshit down my throat. I keep telling them, "I don't want no fucking On-Star crap!! Get away from me you FREAK!!"

I've had onstar call the hummer while i was driving. "who am i speaking to?" i answered "the owner"(but its dads chink) "where are you driving that has a speedlimit of 110mph?"

Then I had the friend at the garage push the antenna pin out of the onstar module

How much do you think I could get a Dragunov for? I had one in Iraq but wasn't able to bring it home Kinda wanted one ever since...I just like the 10 rd 7.62x54 magazine capacity, easy to use glass, lightweight, no extra bullshit and smooth operation. I'd like to find one under $3,000, with optics and magazine.

Back in the late '90s when I was going to gun shows regularly, I'd see 2 or 3 Dragunovs per show and I still kick myself for not picking one up then. One of the reasons I didn't buy one was that I didn't know the details on them and didn't want to get ripped off. When 2000 rolled around, it seemed they gradually disappeared fom the shows. This coming weekend, I'll be going by a local shop and will ask if they are still available as well as what to expect to pay for one.
