Once the insurance companies start defining "un-insurable behavior" we are all screwed. $.02

This is only cr250 damage but it still hurt and took forever to heal. I wheelied over backwards about 55 mph on a gravel road. I slid about 60 ft. on my back before I stopped at least judging from where I found my phone and wallet. I had a helmet, gloves, and boots on but only a t-shirt which went up around my neck the instant I hit the gravel. The bike went end over end but landed in the ditch and didn't get hurt at all. I even started it (took me 15 min to finally kick it hard enough) and rode the rest of the way home.

I tried to get in the shower and wash out the rocks but I about passed out when water hit all the exposed nerves. My knees folded up and I crawled out of the shower on all 4's  The only other strange things to become of it was about 2 months after it healed, I got out of the shower one night a thought I had a big zit on my back. I squeezed it trying to pop it and a pebble came out and landed on the sink.
And my back is still super sensitive in that area if water hits it or something hot or cold touches it every part of me tenses up.

Yeah, I've had to use my insurace lately whcih sucked, but I also learned to just make something up and not tell them it was on the bike. They always give mke a hard time and a stupid lecture  and I'm paranoid about my insurance, they've raised my rate 3 times, I'm up the $530/mo for the wife, kids and me.
I wasn't aware that we didn't have maternity coverage, so I owe over $35,000 for Jonny's birth

ya, the insurance company approved EVERYTHING so they went all out thinking we were covered! fucking asshole insurance companies!!!
the one way that I am lucky is by default to stupid insurance company makes the eldest the primary, so my wife got sent all the bills, not me  well, she already had a 320 fico, so, what the fuck are they gonna do to her? send it to collections! HAHAHAHA
but, yeah, the insurance covered all the OB visits, ultrasounds and everything and never thought to mention the lack of maternity coverage

oh, and of the 35000, 8000 was a "doctors fee" thats right, for spending less than an hour of his time delivering my son he directly charged $8000!!!!! so next time a doctor is a smart ass and gives you a hard time about riding, punch him in the face for me!

We've been talking to the insurance company and I only had to bring up the attorney thing once, I guess, they are supposed to work with the hospital to get a lot of it lowered and my wife was talking to someone from a county program that will help pay for some of it. Hopefully I will only have something like $10,000 left I already worked out a deal with the hospital and I give them $50/mo   I'm gonna be paying that $50/mo for the rest of my life, but thats okay

The sad thing is it wrecks your credit the entire time your paying so the $50 per month ends up a shitload more due to higher interest rates

by dannygraves
ya, except its actually on my wifes credit, not mine :D so I really just pay it to keep them from tax leening us or sending it to collection (which is where they could come after me) so, I still have a 730 fico and no worries  and besides, what the hell is $50/mo anymore anyway

ppssshhh, I don't BUY tires!!! HAHAHA, I get all my buddies take offs and hammer on them until knobs start coming off, then move on to the next take off. My buddy Jason gives me a tire as soon as the knobs start rounding. I start it in the opposite direction, then hammer on it until nothing is left
