I try to break things down simply and think of big issues as small ones, IMO if this country were a small business the first things you would do are cut unneeded spending (wars), start paying off debts (china) and saving money (taxes).
Its going to be really hard to get out of this hole as the country has effectivly "maxed the credit cards" we are in so deep with china alone it will take years nevermind all the money and blood invested in the desert areas with dwindling reserves.
Over the last few years a handfull of bigshots have got massivly rich while the rest of the country is now going to have to clean up the mess.
I take everything said by a politician with a massive amount of salt, but IMO we are gonna HAVE to tighten our belts.
