Like we spoke about last night, you need a 3.5" x 17" front and a 5.5" x 17" rear. The latter might cause you some challenges on chain alignment without a sprocket spacer. I found out the Husky rear stock rim is only 4.25" and the smallest Maxxis slick wants a 4.5" rim.

You'd be wise to get axle sliders, hand guards, oil and gas catch tank etc....

we put a 160 on the 4.25 husquvarn 510 rim no problem. plenty of room and the profile was better. most guys are running 5 inchers on their crf450's. im rocking a 5 inch with a 165 slick. the slick has a "pointer" profile thus tankes up no more room than a 160 but it is still tight and the chain will slap a little a eat a little off your tire. no big deal. if your looking for rims and dont wanta pay full pop keep any eye out on supermotojunkie. also you can ask chachi243 any questions you might have. he has 2 cr500af supermotos. one street and one race

no, he'll want a 4.25" rim on the back of his CR......and run a 150 tire.... that is, if he wants to ride a supermoto that handles, and not just have a fat 17" tire on for show.

with a 160, you would be ofsetting the wheel to the side ALOT, or your chain flat out wont fit... and thats with a SM specific tire (aka square-er edges, less overhang) with a sportbike tire or equivilent RR slick, theres no way in hell it'll fit right.... plus he doesnt need a tire bigger then a 150.
