hell ya. guy im renting house from has '79 cb750 that hasnt been rode for years, just sits in a garage. he bought it brandnew in '79 and has only 6400 original miles. soon as i get a couple extra bucks im buying it

I see in your sig line you have one. How do you like it? It looks like it is fun to ride. I only commute 12 miles each way to work so it wouldn't be a long ride.
It is great fun, and I used to use it to commute 40 miles to work. Stupid fast. Major threat to driving privileges. Ass goes numb after about 25 miles. Now surplus do to new company and opportunity to work from home office.

If the cb750 is stock and clean, you may want to consider leaving it that way. Those bikes are in demand in Cali and can fetch a premium price.
If it has been molested or looks like crap, i say Cafe it.
Just remember, it never will be a cbr.
Check that the front brake caliper works, these are hard to find good and fetch a premium price. I sold one on ebay for $120.
Also, stay away from the cb750A.
