The pic of the 500 quadracer makes me miss the 90 I used to have, 540 Trinity big bore kit and the works. Took a first in the 91 Oregon Dunes Sandfest, that thing was a fucking riot. Tear Ok went and looked at my new baby and I am a better now

I bought a new 1990 KX500 because my CR pissed me off. Only time I intentionally switched brands. I had the bike about a month and the rear hub split in 2, that was fun at speed! After that was fixed the next ride the rear shock rod broke in half, and I wasn't doing any real jumping just riding. That was a pleasant 25 mile ride back to the truck. A few weeks after that I learned how to rebuild Kawi trannys. Over the coarse of the 9 months I owned it, none of the exhaust mounts were original, and the kicker looked alot like a re-curve bow. Happiest day of my life was giving that thing to my dealer and picking up my 1991 CR500. Needless to say I don't care much for KX's.

Funny you mention that. I just posted a list of shit that broke all the time on my KX on KXriders.com. Basically everything you just mentioned. Except the shock? Never heard of that one before.
