I've been considering the same case deal, I'm wanting to rework the LH case to accept a factory KTM hydraulic clutch button, and it'll have clearence for a 16t sproket, with a '02 cr250 style ignition cover. I have some alcoa billet pieces milled as mock-up stuff at home,
I've got access to alot of "scrap" aluminum from Lode-King trailers in town here. just picked up 200lbs of it friday, nice stuff!
I've got enough parts made, that with a little welding and bolting, i could replicate that side.
I'd like to find a screwed case to do some more measuring off of, i'd done a bunch when i had these other engines apart, but theres a few dimensions i need now that i can't get to.
