So, did you fill in all of the extension gap with weld and then grind it down?

Did the stock bottom engine mount location align the counter shaft sprocket with the rear sprocket without any modification?

Thanks everybody.

2 wheels. . . . Yes, after the extensions were welded in, the area was filled with weld and ground down.

Mega. . . .the stock lower mount is still used. This does not line up the countershaft sprocket though. You must use the correct swingarm spacers to accomplish this. I used the ones from a CR125 of the same year, I believe. The part numbers are on this site in this section somewhere. They worked beautifully.

I have ordered the 125 bushings mentioned here on the site but the local Honda dealer hasn't gotten them in yet. What I was curious about is once I get them installed does the engine drop straight into the lower mount or did your engine require cutting one side and shimming the other to move the engine left or right? I appreciate your patience in these questions and responses.

Nope, lower mounts should be good-to-go.....

Swingarm spacers are used "as-is"

Bob is right. Install the 125 spacers and drop the motor in. You will be good to go at that point. No shimming or grinding needed.

I used the FMF Turbine core off of the 1990-2001 CR500. It did need some reworking though. I don't think you will find anything that will fit really well that is off of the shelf.
