yours is too new for magnesium anyway...they quit making waterpumps out of it in '89
you have another problem...I'd put money down on the rad cap...

Check your spark arrestor. If it is clooged at all, it will cause over heating and back pressure which could have been your blow up.

Nick, you leaned the main, this leans EVERYTHING from 1/8 throttle on up. I run the 200 main on my bike to keep it from over heating. Fuel cools the motor better then water...

as soon as i get the cylinder apart ill figure it out.. gonna pull the rad's out, cylinder out and have them sent out to get done.. once they are done im going to save up for that mikuni like danny graves and see whats we can do... Ill get this thing right one of these days

Your going to have to jet the Mikuni just the same way as a PJ or PWK. I'm not talking about the jet sizes either. If your good at jetting fine then. Other than that its a step backwards.

that was one of the first few runs of the day and I was having tons of launch issues. the first launch I looped it (cracked the subframe too I discovered last night) then the next few launched I was all over the place sideways and shit, then I started taking really slow launches on purpose until I got it down, that vid was one fo those. I was doing much better by the ned of the day.
this one was better, but Justin f-ed up his launch. unfortunately the camera man was having shoulder issues, so she spent most of the day at camp.

I'm hoping to do better at dumont next time. plus I'm running a badly worn 8 puck and need to do something about that.
