Its 5mm, not 6.5mm ( 1/4")

The whole jug moves up, including the port locations...

Those are nice!!!

Anyone building a bike really needs one, especially during welding.

I'd start a new thread, with some photos...

funny how admin asked for money over there for advertising. I bet I get banned for my comment. :? WTF, I used to discount mine 20 bucks from Ebay for the board members here. It just became too much work after selling about 30 jigs. Good luck with those, you will sell a few on Flebay and here for sure!

Thats so friggin' weak..... Just jack up the price $15, and let everyone know that $15 went into John's personal beer fund.

Roosty and Iggy both told them to pound sand... I suggest everyone should.

Kevin and Mik were providing a service , barely covering their costs.... and they got their hand out?

Sounds ALOT like this to me....

Back on topic..

I received my new intake boot today and now the carb lines up nice with the 98 250 air box boot.I'm going to make the air box mods tomorrow.

I did notice I have some interference at the reed cage with the expansion chamber, looks like I might have to dimple the pipe a little bit.

Also,if I can modify the fuel tank outlet I might not have to mod the tank.
I'll post up some pictures if I make any progress.

Building a A/F is like eating an elephant.... it seems like a huge undertaking.... but all your really doing is just taking one bite after another till' your done.

Keep at it.... you'll get there!

I got a few hours to work on it today.
Air box is done, came out pretty good, carb lines up perfect.
Still need to push in the top of the boot where it hits the frame.
I tried the pro circuit pipe and now we have clearance at the reed and carb boot.

Just need to sell some jigs so I can buy some parts for this one.

Heat up the boot pretty hot....

Shove in a piece of wood to hold it away from the frame

Let it cool overnight.

The boot will relax a bit, so over-do it a little on the wood thickness.

Done.

OR.....

Grind some of the frame away like this dood I know....

The bars appear to be cr high bends.
I am 6ft.
Am I going to need risers,?I just put 2inch risers on my steely and that helped me alot.
