And thats the difference a 2 stroke needs a pump a 4 stroke don't... A 2 stroke needs fuel every stroke a 4 stroke needs fuel every other stroke this allows the carb time to refuel the bowl....

well the longest WOT would be going straight up choke cherry at st anthony dunes.

so im not sure that it would require a pump.

but if anyone does run a pump, what set up do you run?

The electric pump line is just conected to the vacumme pump just so dirt wont get in there the vac pump is for the primary fuel the electric is for the injected stuff .
I never did get this running right

depends what carb. some have 2 inlets. need 2 outlets from pump or pump one side and gravity feed the other. single inlet carb just need one outlet from pump

pumps are real cheap and easy to hook up. cheaper than fried piston

what is the measurement of your needle installed.

my bike is at 2.012" when you measure from the brass to the end of the needle.

I believe Packard only has one needle that is for alcohol, it easy to tell by its dished out groove on the flat side of the needle

I run 3 power jets, 2 wide open and 1 about half open

what ignition are you running and amount of advance.

spark plug should be gapped .018

how much compression, you should have at least 13 to 1 measured UCCR
