Speedway bikes are 500cc 4 strokes making about 84-88hp off gravity feed.100hp honda wrote:.... less air meens less fuel is needed, more air- more fuel etc etc..
Cr500 on alcohol?
And thats the difference a 2 stroke needs a pump a 4 stroke don't... A 2 stroke needs fuel every stroke a 4 stroke needs fuel every other stroke this allows the carb time to refuel the bowl....AlisoBob wrote:Speedway bikes are 500cc 4 strokes making about 84-88hp off gravity feed.100hp honda wrote:.... less air meens less fuel is needed, more air- more fuel etc etc..

what is the measurement of your needle installed.lewisclan wrote:Clyde I need your numbers off your 48 lectron you got from Dennis the one I have just drowns my bike out until 3rd gear
my bike is at 2.012" when you measure from the brass to the end of the needle.
I believe Packard only has one needle that is for alcohol, it easy to tell by its dished out groove on the flat side of the needle
I run 3 power jets, 2 wide open and 1 about half open
what ignition are you running and amount of advance.
spark plug should be gapped .018
how much compression, you should have at least 13 to 1 measured UCCR
