just for the record. this bike is my only transportation. I do not have a car or another bike. I choose to have only a bike because riding is my life. I ride to work in the pouring rain and still have a smile on my face. this is why I ride. I am not rich. I can only afford one bike and I pinched pennys to have this thing built. rode a bicycle to work up until 3 weeks ago when I got my wifes 150r street legal. now I ride that to work. im not looking for sympathy by any means. just want everyone to know where im coming from. mike is a great guy and his work is unsurpassed on every level. but what bothers me is that with his skill set he could have had built this bike in a month max. going into this build I was giddy as a school girl and that has slowly fadded away. now its all gone and it's really just another bike now.

Thats worse than delivering a cosmetically flawed, but structrually sound bike.... ( S/H as an example......)

I feel for you Frank....

I'm sure once you receive it, it will return to its former glory....

The resale value will be much better with a SH Honda.

Effective marketing to the public has accomplished much of this and SH gets their props, but there will always be a market with those who choose to research and educate themselves to alternatives for a given product with improvements and one can argue whether the improvements are cosmetic or structural if they choose, but they are improvements to a product. But really, this stuff has been beat to death.Image

yeah but deposit was paid in april which mean work should have begun in april!! not when it as paid in full correct. and you can't be serious that its still at the powdercoaters. they were supposed to drop it off last tuesday after they had it for a week. now when did it really go to the powdercoaters??? and if it was there and they didn't deliver I when they said they would why are you just now calling them a week later. this is out of hand. and when you do get it back you still have to build the head stay. maybe instead of going on week vacations you should have taken care of prior obligations first. but that's just me!!!

thanks danny for taking my blood pressure down a bit. haha remember when I called you at the beginning of october and wanted you to end my frame back as is? you assured my that it would be done and shipped the 25th. I just want straight answers. I don't want pics. I can't ride a picture around. every man has a breaking point and mine has now been reached. I can only take so many missed completion dates. and yes the final 500 was paind on the 25th of november. if you wanted the full payment upfront you should have said so. I don't believe that would have changed where we are today anyway. and im sorry t has come to this on a forum but it's not my doing.

Actually nothing starts until it's paid in full but, we worked a bunch of stuff out between us Frank and you know I wasn't gonna start yours right away and you knew that because like I explained to you I had never done a 450 before and didn't know what it would take not to mention I gave you 20% off because of that but, I didn't think it would take this long either that I'm sorry about... so let's not get in a pissing match about it and finish your bike! You could always call me as well but, if you want to handle it this way that's cool to makes no difference to me. How would Danny set delivery dates for me?

That sucks Mike. I should of kept my comments to myself. Wasn't throwing dirt on anyone and thought it was all in good fun, when in reality it appears that Frank has/had an issue. Apologies sent.

"look mike my intentions were never to start a pissing match. I just want to know what's going on with my bike and not be fed some bull shit line every time I call. You kept leading me on saying next week, next month, but time keeps passing and still no bike. Now u are telling me its
still at the powdercoaters when u said it would be shipped last friday. What's frustrating me is that I keep getting excuses. I just want my bike.

Frank our last conversation was that you couldn't pay the balance until the 5th or 6th of December and I said that's cool. Then your wife sent me a Paypal for the balance. I don't think I would have told you I was shipping your bike on Friday when I wasn't going to be in town.

I don't want to get involved or pick sides, but the fact it's a 450 conversion shouldn't mean it's going to take 10 months to build. But Frank should also be patient because it's not like throwing a gen3 250 together. Your bike is going to be mikes hardest conversion, with the airbox mod (which is not easy to make look good), the headstay (which mike probably wants to make his own design for), and all the other bullshit that comes with a 450 conversion...I can agree with Frank that he's been waiting a while, but i'm still very very interested in this frame's progress and would love to see pictures of the build because i really appreciate teemtrubbles work regardless.

Mike and Frank need to take this up between the 2 of them, I hear both sides...and...well... it just sounds to me like Frank needs to pull the frontal wedgie out of his gina and Mike needs to bang out what left of this bike so we can all have some pics and thus some hardcore A/F porn!
Mike, you should snap some shots in stages so we can see her naked
