"I am the last gladiator in the New Rome. I go into the arena and I compete against destruction and I win! And next week I go out there and I do it again.

I will forever always be in the arena fighting, rather than be a spectator. The spectator will outlast me, but he will never outlive me.."

Speaking of Evel...

He always said he was going to go out in style, by doing one last jump.

Here is my submission....
Next Evel Knievel days' give him a 1/2 mile to get er wound up and jump over this.
Hell, it's even in his home town.

I plan to leave here tomarrow night. I will camp at wash 10 or 13 depnding on what feels right when I get there. I hava big group to meet and fart around with at wash 10, and it seems y'all are going to be at wash 13, so I will split my time. My quad will be my shuttle between camps, and I suggest others bring a night machine as well. You will want to silly on over to the hill for a bit, and no lights means no go. So bring a night bike or a 4x4 or a side by side, or you will be bummed.

oh, and every machine including your truck must have a flag to go to the hill, or whatever you do.

Hey don't be yanking our cranks, you know you'll be at wash 10.

I've been to the hill enough times at night, but I could ride my wifes quad there. I got enough fireworks to keep us entertained. And after a Mai Tai or three I'm not going anywhere.

Now there is something I can help you with. I have a nice Chevy full size axle sitting here just waiting for you to SAS your Furd. SAS=solid axle swap, and with a leaf spring fron suspension, a NP205 tcase, and lockers front and rear, you would be able to rock crawl the Harley rig through the Rubicon trail. Of course you could kiss your sweet paint job adios.

unfortunately the 15s is almost a strait line there...
I say a banks kit would make for a better shortcut...and a complete disreguard for the speed limit!

I lost a matress cuz I was pulling a flat bed trailer 95mph with the f-150 and all of a sudden I felt a ton of drag and looked in my rear view in time to see a queen sized matress flipping end over end on the 15, I stopped, but it was gone forever
I'd drive, n/p but remember, the bike is currently under construction
