O.K. Dune Hoons whats the preferred method for hooking up a flag to a bike. They don't enforce it for bikes at sand mountain (or at least the last time I was there) so I have never run one. If I am goofing around on the face hill the 500 pretty much holds the place hostage and in typical fashion nobody ever ventures more than 50' from their truck so in the back of the place it never freaked me out.
doesn't that thing just get in the way, do you break it every time you get on the bike? I have seen it mounted to the axle and also to the fender....whats the preference?

I've got extra flags Matt.... no worries.
Just make sure your axle nut threads are good. I've seen guys take the nut off, only to find their weekend is over.

I'm loving that Flag I should look like quite the little princess

I ordered up a couple flags from rockymountain today, so you like the axle mount.

				Thanks for bringing that up.
Since some mofo stole my tool bag I don't have a mount

Hope Cycle Parts West still have them. I think they didn't last I checked

  F'ers.

I got in so much trouble as a young man that I try to be on top of as many rules as I feel I can abide by. Cover the easy ones so hopefully they don't bat an eyelash at the ones I am breaking.

It's cheap and it works.
Poke a hole in your fender for a zip tie "leash" and your good to go.

Thats my method too, axle mount, zip tie on the fender will keep it from getting suckedd in and shedded by the rear tire.
Speaking of Tires, I just bought a replacement for mine and will bring out an old Chen Shing 19" 10 paddle for anyone that wants to put it on and no worries on returning it
