I hit dumont yesterday for a quickie last minuted call in sick ride The dunes were bitchin completely smooth with hardley a track in site, there were only 2 camps in the whole place and I only saw one other person riding a quad.
The witches eyes and razor are BAD tho they are everywhere, trying to read the sand is almost an impossibility
The bike ran tits, maybe a little lean up to 1/2 throttle but thats the way I like it, on the nitrous was a diff matter tho it felt rich as hell on it. No more of the surging but the 25 shot felt like a 5 shot

dude, you workin' this weekend? next weekend? I wanna do a day trip and can't wait until october. Plus I bought that '89 today which will go into the gen-1 and the gen-1 motor is getting transplanted, so I'd like to do one last dunes ride on my gen-1 in her current condition

This ride is awn like Donkey Kong. I am excited to go out there and ride my bike in the dunes. I hope you gents want to go in the bowls and back hills, I'm not much for a ton of drag racing. I'm going to enjoy myself I can tell, and I look forward to seeing y'all there!
I'm bringing 2 bikes, so that I can ride my gen-1 for shooting hills and the gen-4 for rolling bowls! we will probably spend more time in the bowls than drags. I'm so excited! still pissed that I can only make sat night-sun night, but plan to make the best of it!

yup, I don't think we ever head strait for the drags, or strait back from the drags. We usually hit bowls for a while, then take a break at the drags, do a few runs, then hit the bowls some more!

I just got done respringing/gold valving my fo fiddy. This will be the first time ive ever had properly tuned suspension. My spring rates were 2 full sizes too stiff!!
Maybe this will speed me up fast enough to pass the D- Group test...

That mite just do it we are in the middle of a addition to our house after this ride no more weekends off. we have been working every weekend since the pismo trip. this break will carry us through december .
