Oh ok. I can't get out there until friday.

Has anyone gotten anything about where the registration is? I did the online thing, but where do we get the stuff? and are there rules about how the race work? I havn't done anything like this before and i don't want to miss riding cause i don't have stuff figured out.

Hey i just found this on racer x.com.
"The WORCS team is running the event to make it safer yet still have all the cool things that the ADGP has always had. The water jump, lots of spectators, technical logs section"

Is that true? I don't know how to ride over logs. I guess you just do it, but i have never tried before and i thought they were a special skill that i don't have.

In previous years there has been a slightly slower route that goes around the water jump. I bet they will do the same for anything that looks like it is going to cause big problems for the beginner / novice classes...i.e. logs.

Ok Brit & I went out and staked out our spot if you turn on the road just past the mx track along the fence on the North side of the park mark your odometer its .5 miles west of 395 and we are on the right hand side of the road with yellow caution tape that reads Whitecap tied to 5/8" re bar driven into the ground with 12"x12" white rags tied to the top. inside the ribboned area is a Joshua tree that has 3 yellow ribbons tied to it , also the lath stakes that the promoter has his camping sign stapled to it I wrote CR500 on them and 1 of them I wrote lewis on it.

I plan on being there by 3pm at the latest.

Chris took some photos he will post up

I have found the best method is to call Brit on his cell and have him stand in the middle of the road. I mean how many other people are going to be wandering around with a beer and a ciggy at 06:00 AM?

I also think you turn left (West) onto Coronado Road from the 395 and then look on the right-hand side...

I'll be up early on Saturday with daughter #2 in tow...
