Just got off the phone with WC. their new skid plates is the rubber mounting are only available for the 2010 bike. I tried to buy just the rubber mounting system. They WILL sell it but it won't work because the spacing is wrong. new rail brackets would have to be made. The rubber system is wider thus putting it away from the frame further.
They had the suggestion to use rubber between the frame and the guard.
I'm thinking that modding the frame bracket would be the the best way to roll.
