Wether it be bored out or left standard?

If you already have a like new PJ is it worth spending the money for a new PWK or just bore the PJ out. ( its cheaper :D )

You cant bore a PJ much without windowing it, I liked the increased throttle response of the PWK (much helpful on a cr500) and you can get a PWK in 41mm, no one I know has been disappointed with the 41mm pro...

Also, PWK's have a throttle stop to adjust idle speed instead of the crappy twisting the choke knob thing on the PJ...mucho easier to adjust on the trail too...

So you think El Ditcho the PJ for the PWK is the way to go regardless of price?
Can a airstriker be bored out without stuffing it up?

Care to share that list?
What size TMXx? 34mm come on a lot of the 440 snowmobiles (Arctic Cat ZR440, Polaris XC440, etc.), 38's come on CR125's and CR250's, YZ125's & YZ250's, KX125's, and RM125's...some with TPS controlled powerjets. PWK39's can be found on a variety of cold weather toys.

I dont think you can bore an air striker without removing the vains that make it an air striker...

Then you just end up with a 41mm pro...lol

lets put it this way, I efing hate the PJ carb, Its a bitch to tune and the throttle adjustment makes tuning the pilot circuit a pita. If I have kept my gen-3, the next step was a pwk, even if it was a 38mm a/s it would have been a huge improvement in tuning and throttle responce. The pwk is a superior carb to the PJ. period. My old pwk that left with the gen-4 I got from ebay, it came off an old kx500, I paid $60 and it even came with extras
to me, a PWK is like an LS1 or other SBC that runs good and always runs, then I compare the mikuni like some fancy import twin turbo, that might make more power but the second something goes wrong its a big ol' PITA.

So is the air striker a marketing gimmick or does it really work ?
if there's one thing dad likes more than serenity… it's a two stroke engine on full throttle!
