CR250 ignition jetting??

Post by eyesky2002 »

Looking for a little input from those who converted to the CR250 ignition. I installed a 99 CR250 ignition set up right before the ice age hit. Started it and then did some off season maintenance.

Getting it back together and wanted to make sure the jetting was right or at least had what jets I needed on hand.

I was running a 178 / 55 combo in my 39 PWK with good results. So what have been those who have done the swap results as far as jetting goes? What changed?

Im asking the same question (98 CR250 carby-topic thread)
Bolt the 250 carb on and try it seems to be the general advice.
