Maybe it's for a Harley. FMF can go screw themselves, I'll never buy anything from that sleezy outfit.

I did some research and found this. FMF had a copywrite infringment with it's names so they changed them. Burly became Gnarly and Fatboy became Fatty. Something to do with Harley owning "fatboy" and Burly being a product by someone else.

Mike at CPI said the fatty was the highest output of all the pipes they tested, then he built a real pipe. LOL.

I asked you why you wanted to sell it.

I thought you said you had others, can't remember. I have not even had a chance to run it yet. My motor has been on the bench waiting for My build to start.

I hope I like it better than my others. The Gnarly won't rev quite enough and the PC won't pull down low for beans.

Anyone ever try a Bills pipe before?

I'm interested in performance not looks regarding the Bills pipe.

I just got one that says gold series. IS that a fatty or a gnarly? It was on a 91

I'm fine with selling it, please don't take that posting as me being sad that it sold. That post was more along the lines that I didn't even know what I had. I didn't know the "Fatty" had a following.

I have one of those OLD "gold series" pipes. From what dewayne says, that is hands down the best off the shelf 500 pipe. Higher reving than the fatty and lighter, but more likely to dent since its made from a thinner steel. Its like an opened up stocker.
I'll probably be selling mine along with all of my other old 500 parts...

HAHA. That's why I don't buy a 4 stroke, I'd have a sale that I could retire on.

yep mine has a few dents and couple cracks. Looks identical to the fatty.

For not knowing what a fatty was you sure got all the $$ outta me :?

 Your the one who set the price, not me. I am just mad that I'm so far behind the learning curve that I just recently discovered the Fatty following.

hey, don't worry about it, no one was talkign about fatty pipes or 250 ignitions before I shared what dewayne told me a couple years back. My cousin Andy (hoofarted) blames me for the inflated cr250 ignition prices
