Steering head race tools

Anybody have the tools / knowledge to press in a new steering head upper race (07 crf 250) ???

I have only done this on older bikes with steel frames, but just use a little heat on the frame, chill the bearing, and tap it in with a socket that matches the bearing in size. For me it went real easy. Getting the lower bearing onto the the lower triple clamp is more tricky, but a shop will do it in under a minute.

Use dry ice, and the race will fall in.

You dont need any special tools

For the bearing, heat it with a torch.... it will fall onto the triple clamp shaft

freeze and then pull it in with a big G/F clamp with a plate across it top and bottom

i got a buddy in the pocohontas area of iowa that could help? I could send his info yoru way... but fk as cold as it is there just leave the race outside over night and keep the bike in the barn nice and warm.. grab the race and drop it in lol..

I have the upper and lower race tool from Honda. Never used it.
