the bad:
need higher bend bars (only a little)
hard to start (until you get the idle screw set right)

monster "M" stickers are gay
stock front tire sucks
sounds like a honda generator at idle (ok, so I'm grasping for straws here)
the good:
awesome power, VERY good low end, doen't leave me craving anything coming off the 500, linear power and pulls like crazy up top. On fire roads that I would max out 5th (wide gearing, 14/49) on the 500, I was barely clicking into 5th

throttle responce is freaken unreal!
the handling was hands down the best handling bike I've ever been on, it TURN FAST, but it super stable pinning it in the washes (kawasaki changed the entire bikes geometry so that it rides beautifully with the forks 10mm up and 112mm of sag (kawi recommended). Some people were complaining about the kawi handling, but they all set 100mm sag like you would on any bike.
the suspension is perfect I was hitting whoop sitting down, then jumping them like doubles, all stuff I couldn't do on the 500. I read an article on the bike where the guy who weighed ~190 and he said the only improvement for him was to add 2 clicks all over and add .25 turns to the hgih speed, so I did that before the ride and I honestly can't say theer is a single thing I want to change about the suspension!
the ergos are great, its a very tall bike with lots of room. I want a higher bend on the bars, but everywhere else its great. the seat is very confortable while giving you good ass grip.
I honestly love every aspect of riding this bike, its truly amazing.
MFDB, Matt and Jason all rode it.
I'll let MFDB post what he thinks, but he took off for like 15 minutes and came back with only good things to say.
Matt said it was faster than the '09 crf450 he rode and handles like his ktm250 (2 stroke).
I know you guys are gonna hate me, but I will be selling the 500s, I have no reason to keep them since I'm not gonna ride them
