Roman Candle hunting
looking for this roman candle. got some from a guy selling out of the back of his van once (probably illegal as heck, besides the point)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywmlLH27ZE0
watch it till about 1:10 and the actual report can clearly be heard. the name of the candle, and the styling can be seen right when the video starts.
if you know where to find it, let me know!!
and if you find them, GET THEM. they are like the old Phantom Flashing Thunder candles.

lol - those are always fun.~Trever wrote:I know a guy who may have been involved in a roman candle fight with about 6 of his buddies in the desert once
BTW - the absolute BEST reporting fireworks I've had came in a 6x6 brick and were called Boom Town. I have looked high and low for these and havent found anything comparable. Each report was louder than an M80. I've made other rockets that..umm..fly sideways due to being a tad heavy on the nose...DG was there to witness that one.
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

LMFAO, the tannerite rocket was the best, especially when it bounced off one dudes ass while we were all running away, then blew your ramp to peices right by a box of ammo and a gas can it really is amazing no one got hurt!hoofarted wrote:lol - those are always fun.~Trever wrote:I know a guy who may have been involved in a roman candle fight with about 6 of his buddies in the desert once

rofl, you should see what happens when we combine 4 tires, roll of carpet, 10 gallons of gas mixed with 7 - 10 gallons of motor oil, wood and building materials, a TON of assorted fireworks (roman candles, mortars, and a few bricks of firecrackers, grosses of bottle rockets) stand back and shoot a roman candle to ignite the whole mess, and play dodge the flying fireballs.CR500R7 wrote:

oxy acetalyne is too unstable for my tastes.......arleybeer40 wrote:the oxy acetalene mix works better in a plastic bottle. Gatorade bottles are good but 5 gallon water jugs are better, especially whens there 2 or 3 of them.
ive heard a lot of stories from close friends of the family about the instability if it, so even though i imagine its loud as fuck, no thanks.
unless i could run the hose out to a bag and fill it from a distance, and just use a grill igniter with an extension on it or something.
