Finally can call my Gen 1 Complete,Started as a complete 99 CR125 roller, swapped the frame for a 99 250,Engine is built from ebay, hpd and some parts from my 86 engine,it has 87 cases,87 tranny,96 crank, new rightside cover,86 jug,87 head.It was complete for about 2 weeks now but I was waiting on a Front sprocket for my 96 Tranny that I ordered on may 23rd  ,Yesterday I said the hell with waiting anymore and pulled the engine, split the cases, swapped the tranny with the 87 one which I already have sprockets for,put it all back together and had its maiden ride at 330am ,took me about 7 hrs to pull the engine, swap the tranny and put the bike back together,It feels waaaayyyy better then my 86 steelie although the suspension seems kinda stiff right now but Ill get it set up better in the next few days,Still need some new rubber, maybe some plastics sometime down the road but Im happy as shit with it as is :D ,Thanks to all who answered questions and especially Shanman for his Mounts,Spacers,Headstay

  ,I guess I made it sound more complicated then it is,pretty much its a 86/87 engine with a 96 crank and updated clutch/waterpump cover,I thought about updating the clutch to a newer one but the hinson basket from my 86 is still like new and works great,I had no probs ordering all the nuts bolts and little shit since the engines are pretty much the same since 87 with the exception of a few bearings and seals

ya Ive had the roller since last yr,put the engine together this winter, got the frame welded in april and have been slowly getting it all put together since then,I kept putting off ordering a sprocket for the 96 tranny and the bike has been sitting needing only that for a few weeks,My riding season is short enough as is so I got tired waiting and got at it

Went for a tanks worth of fuel ride today,The suspension didn't feel as harsh as the first ride, maybe it just felt harsh cause I hadn't been on a bike for 9 months,I'm gonna try the ziptie on the forks and shock thing on monday when I get back from Yellowknife and see how much of the suspension I'm using,Had a little surging when I got on the throttle hard for a while on a few sandy hills and got her nice and hot but otherwise carb seems to be set up good,Can't wait to get out for a day trip and see how it performs,Sure is good to rip around town on this instead of the quad
