I wasn't looking forward to going with all the jumps, pipe cracking, tire rubbing and ankle issues, but didn't want to race next week cold turkey and I'm always glad I practiced before a race. Today was no exception. Ran into Vixen012 on the way, or should I say she blew by me.
We talked briefly at a red light and she was going AMP anyway. Hope its all good girl. She took a header a couple of weeks ago at Perris.The rhythm section at the front fence is really fun. A small step up, a short double and a table after.
I manedged to clear the table before the big step up in the back section but just not ready to pull the trigger for that gap. I know that table doesn't need to be cleared to make the step up but its a big confidence builder to clear it. That table has always pleged me for some reason. Maybe because the face of the jump was three feet higher than the top of it and/or I found that the inside line was way smoother than before. It would of been a good day to try it, just a gentle breeze from the NW. Anyway I'm as ready as I'm gona be for race day.
