Steiners Deep Creek Ranch weekend

Post by iggys-amsoil »

With his sisters 21st B-Day and mine the next day I had to go.
I've never seen so much snow melt in the river so acrossing and river runs were out. I'll wait til it gets warmer.

Saturday was to windy for the moto track so a few spill way rides and some more exploring on trails I haven't been on in twenty years. Got my wife stuck in a canyon that I had her make a turn about in that turned into a twelve pointer. :? That night a 3 wheeler quad convertion flipped over down that same quad track canyon trail bending both sides of the axle. Those axles are really stout not to mention two flats and trashed bars. Luckily no one got hurt. At the top of that hill is a nice view of the ranch, moto track and the spill way that starts the Mojave' River. I took those pics Sunday morning, Steiner should have them up hopefully by tomorrow night. There a lot of goods in there.

There's more but I gota get to work and I'll wait for Steiner.

Iggy it was a pleasure having you and Cynthia out this weekend, I think it's really cool you wanted to spend your birthday at our place! Here's just some of the pics, I need to get more batts for the camera in the morning. Crazy weekend for sure, my sister enjoyed having you there for her party, I had a great time, and once again magnesium stole the show. Was cool having the "Affliction" folks show up in their party bus, don't think they planned on staying the night though, at least they had the bus to sleep in, hahaha!! Nightime fitty jumping on the lander was sweet as always, lot's of airtime for sure! Anyway here are the pics and hope you enjoyed your b-day with us too!!

The pics you spoke of earlier.

 Jas.......................

The first pic shows the Ranch on the left, moto track in the forground. The building with the Blue is where you will find Brit sucking a cold one.
"If I ever get an invite :x ~ Brit" Next time.

The second and third pic shows the mouth of the Mojave' River. Deep Creek is behind it and the water is the snow melt from Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. In the early 80's we use to ride from the back side through the tunnel as the water is 2-3" deep until you get to the end, there its waist deep, but no more. :x

Forth is in between.

Cool shots Jas. and to think 791 doesn't even race  so his GF says.

Curtis (791) will be joining the program in a few months, it's time to step him up!! You look like you need wings jumping that double!

I have a couple more pics of you jumping this double, are you speaking of the one where your back tire is touching down on the lander?? I've got more to upload to photobucket, so I'll post ASAP!
