Kennedy Meadows
I dont kow what most of you So-Cal Hoons did this wekend, but you blew it by not making this ride.
Weather and condiditons were IDEAL!
Lots of good eats and drinks
Campfire B.S. was off the charts
I dont have time right now to get into all the details, but it was a real hoot!
Most impressive was Al Gava, on his home-made Gen 1 conversion, in its madien voyage... ZERO ISSUES!
Well done Al!

It was great to get together once again. The location was fantastic, the food and the drinks were too(maybe too much). Thanks Bob for the ride up there and Jay for the hospitality once again, you’re too funny with that speaker cone.
Scott, Andy and friend, glad to meet you.
Here are some pics, click on them to see them big
Around camp
The map was thoroughly studied so we could get lost fewer times
My new ride 85-97 combo can, out for the first time
Some stops here and there to find out where we were
Beautiful place
A big 4 foot log blocking the way, no chainsaw at hand
Some people try to go around it(unsuccessfully)
This was the right way to do it
Some of the creek crossings
The end of Jackass trail was beautiful
Bob in deep waters video
And refreshing
There isn't any pictures of the after ride because we were all too busy enjoing ourself
Other pictures we took on a previous ride(the before Lewisclan)
We were very worried that Lewis trailer wasn’t there and couldn’t enjoy fully
We couldn’t possibly enjoy lunch
Maybe this pictures will inspire some of you to come out and join us next year.

If you don't go how will you ever learn? Ya I know, I didn't go.
Good job on the AF Al. Great pics too.
Now if there was one of those paddles with bolts in it.......
How much single track do you guys think you did compared to jeep trails?

Mostly singletrack, over 50% quite gnarly, lots of rocks, roots and giant logs.
On the way back we had to take a shortcut because Jay's 650 had lost some engine oil and he patched it up as well he could...oh yeah and filled it with 2 stroke oil. That was good because I ran out of gas about 10 min after that.....and again 200 yards before base.
